The Sonor Martini AQ2 comprises of a 7 Ply all Maple shell construction with newly designed shell hardware and new SmartMount Technology allows for a minimalistic yet functional feel. German design and engineering makes for optimal sound sustain with a minimal amount of hardware on the drum shell. SmartMount Technology is a welcome addition to this series as it avoids unnecessary drilling holes and metal to shell contact, allowing for better sustain and better visibility on the shell surface.
